I have handled a lot of clients both in Calcutta, and in Bombay. There are many, who are under the impression that MUMBAI is fashion forward, more than any of the other metro cities in India. If I were asked, I’d say, from personal experience, if Mumbai is at 100, Kolkata does not lag behind by much. I’d rate Kolkata a 92.
While Rituparna Sengupta, Tollywood actress, is my regular client, who recently purchased a bunch of apparel right after the opening of my boutique ‘MANSI’, I have had the pleasure of dressing up other actors as well. For instance, Swastika Mukherjee. Her appearances on advertisements of Anjali Jewellers feature apparels that have the tag of MANSI.
It has been a whole lot of fun for me with each and every one of my clients.
